作品涵義： 象徵—堅定不移、威嚴可信的 〝 松〞

                 剛正不阿、崇高與堅定的〝竹〞

                 高潔不屈、堅強與勇敢的〝梅〞

  警察在執法和保護社會的過程中必須具備堅韌.忠誠和高潔的品格， 這與歲寒三友的寓意相呼應。

Artist Description: It is believed that "pine” is regarded as the symbol of steadfastness and a dignified figure. And “Bamboo” represents the feature of being Upright, noble, and committed. As for “plum”, it stands for purity and unbending will, strong and bravery. These three features have been perfectly echoed by police officers who are equipped with remarkable characteristics of toughness, loyalty, and integrity.

藝術系列一、 將〝竹〞作為入口意象，呈現作品特色與環境的和諧，更具竹山以竹聞名的在地特色，主結構環狀排列設計是象徵一個團體團結的凝聚力，運用不銹鋼的永久性及鑲嵌玻璃、窯燒玻璃多彩透亮的特質。兩者媒材相結合展現出竹子的優雅與自然之美，讓經過或來往的居民可一同欣賞到藝術與生活的美。

The Three Friends of Winter- I As the symbol and the most well-known feature of Jhushan Township, the image of bamboo is applied as the main design concept to represent the artwork's characteristics and the place's harmonious environment. The main circular arrangement of the artwork is a strong symbol of the cohesive unity of a community. With the utilization of stainless steel for its durability alongside the vibrant translucency of embedded glass and fusing glass, the combination of these materials proposes the elegance and natural beauty of bamboo. With the design of this piece of artwork, we hope it will increase local interactions, connections, and conversations.

藝術系列二、 將〝松〞和〝梅〞的結合裝設於辦公廳舍大門左右兩側展現出一種堅韌、正直和勇敢的形象，鴿子是警徽代表標誌，為社會帶來更多的安全與和諧，多彩透光的鑲嵌玻璃增添獨特的美學魅力和文化意義，代表著吉祥之意。

The Three Friends of Winter- II With the combination of pine and plum blossom decorated on both sides of the main entrance of the office building, the artwork demonstrates a conception of strong, honorable, and courageous. The flying dove which represents the figure of law enforcement in the artwork implies the idea of bringing safety and harmony to society. The colorful translucent stained glass has built the aesthetic attractions and cultural significance to the artwork which carries the meaning of auspiciousness.
